Joint Forensic Association Meeting

Last week, there was a joint meeting in Orlando, Florida of:

The Southern Association of Forensic Scientists
The Mid-Atlantic Association of Forensic Scientists
The Midwestern Association of Forensic Scientists
The Southwest Association of Forensic Scientists

I have heard from several sources that attendance at regular IAI division meetings is down to about half due mostly to economic reasons and travel budgets being cut.

My question is this: Did anyone attend and hear what was the attendance at this event? I would like to compare that to the attendance numbers for each of the association events on a normal basis, and see if this is a good model for other IAI divisions - to schedule joint meetings between neighboring states.
